Location: Various Sites, Perth, Western Australia (WA)

Job Type: Temporary with potential for permanent placement

Roster: 2 weeks on / 1 week off

Compensation: Highly competitive rates, weekly pay (applicable to both PAYG and ABN holders)

About the Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced Steel Fixers in the Perth region. We are seeking dedicated professionals with a minimum of 4 years’ of experience in the industry. This role offers a 2/1 roster, competitive remuneration, and a path to permanent employment for the right candidates. ABN holders are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately reading and interpreting working plans and steel lists.
• Efficiently bending, cutting, and shaping steel bars using appropriate tools.
• Skillfully tying steel bars and mesh to construct cages or mats.
• Safely operating lifting equipment to position cages/mats as required.
• Collaborating effectively with concreters and other trades to ensure project success.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in steel fixing.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting plans and specifications.
• Strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
• Physical fitness and ability to work in diverse weather conditions.
• Adherence to all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Valid White Card and relevant trade qualifications.
• Perth-based candidates preferred.
