Aussie Civil & Mining are currently seeking expressions of interest for the following roles:

Blast Hole Drillers

• Minimum 2 years experience in either Top Hammer or Down Hole Hammer production drilling
• Experience with contour, toe, and oversize
• Ability to drill to design and QA holes
• Flexibility to operate a variety of rigs if required (eg: D65, GD5000, Cubex, Pit Viper, SK, CAT MD)
• Current HR drivers licence (desired)

Shot firers

• Hold current C Class Drivers Licence, WA Shot Firer’s Licence, and WA Dangerous Goods Security Card
• Can lead a crew to execute blasts as per design and assist with design if required
• Good communication skills
• Conduct stock takes and reporting
• Train and mentor blast crew staff

Blast Crew

• Experience working in a mining environment (desired but not essential)
• Ability to follow directions and comply with all site and company safety requirements
• Willing to work in hot. Humid, and dust environments
• Current C Class Drivers Licence
• Dangerous Goods Security Card or willing to obtain

MPU/MMU Operators

• Minimum 2 years experience as a MPU/MMU Operator
• Current HR drivers licence
• Current Dangerous Goods Security Card and Unsupervised Handling of Explosives Clearance
• Forklift Ticket
• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team\

All roles are FIFO from Perth WA with regional and interstate options for suitable candidates. Various rostering options depending on site requirements. All successful applicants will need to pass a drug and alcohol screen as well as a site medical.
